Open Science Manifesto:
This unique document and video has been prepared as a way of bringing together key principles that are reflective of the way that OCSDNet members understand and practice ‘open science.’ Through this manifesto, we hope to capture the attention of researchers, policy makers and others around existing knowledge inequalities and the ways of working that can work to address these issues.
Soft Book Launch:
During the same evening, OCSDNet members will also do a ‘soft launch’ of their collective volume, ‘Situating and Contextualising Openness,’ with a brief overview of draft chapters and findings from the network’s two-years of empirical research on open science in development within the Global South.
If you are not in Cyprus and/or are unable to make it to the event, please check out #OCSDNet17 for live-tweeting of the evening’s activities.
We look forward to seeing you there! Please do not hesitate to contact us by email at info@ocsdnet.org with any questions.
